About
Mittro is built by Hackney Enterprises Inc., the company behind Kyova Communications and Call Scarlett. We own the phone infrastructure - which is exactly why the integration can work.
Why Mittro exists
Field service software has split into two bad options: platforms priced for companies with a hundred trucks, and lightweight tools that treat the phone - the single most important piece of equipment in a service business - as somebody else's problem.
Mittro is built by Hackney Enterprises Inc., the company behind Kyova Communications, a production phone service that trade businesses already run on, and Call Scarlett, an AI answering service. We also operate our own datacenter, streaming infrastructure, and storage.
That matters for one simple reason: we own the phone network Mittro runs on. Mittro is field service management software with the phone system being built inside it - when a customer calls one of our subscribers, the caller ID lookup, the call log, the 24/7 AI answering, and the CRM record will be one system. No third-party integration, no per-minute middleman, no data silo. The phone line, texting, and AI answering are being activated for founding partners first and are not live yet. It is also why the pricing works the way it does: phone service and texting are part of the Pro plan and up, and AI answering comes with Business, because we are not buying telephony from a vendor and reselling it at a markup. Every competitor would have to buy or build a phone company to match that - so they charge for integrations instead, and their customers carry a phone bill, an answering-service bill, and a software bill for what Mittro is built to do on one.
What we believe
- A three-person shop deserves the same technology TruGreen and Roto-Rooter have.
- Phone service belongs inside the subscription, not on a second invoice.
- Software for the trades should be learnable in a day, not a quarter.
- The features that run your business - texting, AI answering, and GPS when it ships - should be included in a plan, not sold as add-ons from another vendor.
Mittro is being built hands-on with pilot companies in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lawn care. If that sounds like your shop, see how the pilot works or get in touch.
