HVAC software built around the equipment and the agreement
Emergency no-heat and no-cool calls do not respect business hours. Run your HVAC company on one platform: a CRM that remembers every unit you have touched, a schedule filtered by trade and tech, maintenance agreements that create their own visits, estimates and invoicing with online card payment - and a built-in phone line with AI answering that is being activated for founding partners first.
What problems does this replace?
ServiceTitan pricing does not fit a small shop
ServiceTitan is built and priced for large operations - a thousand dollars a month and up, long onboarding, and complexity a five-tech company never uses. Most HVAC shops need the core workflow done well, not three hundred settings. Mittro covers scheduling, customers, estimates, and invoicing for a fraction of the price. See the full breakdown in Mittro vs ServiceTitan.
After-hours calls go to voicemail, then to a competitor
Winter no-heat calls and summer AC failures are the highest-value jobs of the year, and they happen at night and on weekends. AI phone answering is Mittro's answer: once activated, Scarlett will pick up when you cannot and turn the call into a draft job with the transcript attached. It is not live yet; it is included from Business and a $49 add-on below that. For an honest look at what the AI can and cannot handle, read what AI phone answering actually does for a service business.
Equipment history lives in a filing cabinet
Which furnace is at that address? When was the capacitor replaced? What did we quote last spring? Mittro's customer CRM keeps equipment, properties, service history, and notes on the customer record, with job photos and documents attached, so the tech knows the install before ringing the doorbell.
Maintenance agreements slip through the cracks
Spring and fall tune-ups are your recurring revenue, but tracking who is due in a spreadsheet means missed visits and lapsed agreements. Service agreements on the Pro plan and up create each visit as it comes due - twice a year, quarterly, or on the cadence you sell - and bill on their own schedule, by invoice or card on file.
Which features matter most for this trade?
-
AI phone answering
Emergency calls are HVAC's highest-ticket work. Activating soon: Scarlett will answer when you cannot and leave a draft job with the call attached.
-
Scheduling and dispatch
An unscheduled queue and a week-at-a-glance schedule, filtered by trade and tech.
-
Customer CRM
Equipment, model numbers, past repairs, and quotes on one record your whole team can see.
-
Invoicing and payments
Turn the completed job into an invoice and let the customer pay by card online, instead of chasing paper thirty days later.
-
Recurring services
Tune-up agreements that create their own visits and bill on their own cadence, from the Pro plan.
Built for the way HVAC work actually flows
A customer calls and the office opens their record: the equipment at the property, the last visit, the open balance. The job goes into the queue, gets a time and a tech on the schedule, and the tech sees it in the mobile app (in development, not in the app stores yet), with status changes, notes, and clock in and out. When it is done, the job becomes an invoice the customer can pay by card online. Once your phone line is activated, the customer's record will open as the phone rings.
QuickBooks sync and GPS tracking are on the roadmap. Multi-trade shops that run plumbing or electrical alongside HVAC manage every trade under one account - see plumbing software and electrical contractor software.
Coming from another platform?
If you are on ServiceTitan and tired of the invoice, read Mittro vs ServiceTitan. Outgrowing Housecall Pro? See Mittro vs Housecall Pro. For founding partners, the Mittro team moves your customers, history, and open invoices over by hand during onboarding; there is no self-serve import tool yet.
