Field service mobile app for techs and the people who run them
The Mittro mobile app is where a tech's day will happen: today's jobs in order, the job details, status changes, notes, and clock in and out, with owners managing the team from the same app. It is built to keep working in a basement or a dead zone and sync when the signal comes back. It is not in the App Store or Google Play yet; ask us where it stands when you sign up.
What a tech gets
My day lists today's assigned jobs in order. Tap one for the customer, the address, the service history, and the job notes. On site, a tech moves the job through its statuses, adds notes, and clocks in and out against the job, and the hours land on their timesheet.
The office sees each status change, so a job in progress or complete does not need a "you done yet?" call.
Built for management, not just the field
Most FSM mobile apps are tech-only. Mittro's app also serves owners and admins: invite and manage the team, change roles, and switch between companies if you belong to more than one, from a jobsite or a supply house.
Sign-in supports two-factor authentication, because the app holds customer addresses and gate codes.
Dead zones do not stop the day
Rural routes, basements, and metal buildings eat cell signal. The app caches the day's jobs on the device, encrypted, and the things a tech does offline - clock in and out, notes, status changes - queue locally and sync automatically on reconnect, in order and without being applied twice.
Field software that assumes perfect coverage was written by people who have never worked a rural lawn route or an electrical job in a half-built structure.
Not in the app yet
Photo capture, customer signatures, push notifications, taking a card payment, and customers, estimates and invoices on the phone are not built into the app yet. Today those live in the web app, which works in a phone browser. GPS fleet tracking and anything that depends on it are on the roadmap.
There is no App Store or Google Play release yet either. We will say so on this page the day there is.
