Invoicing software for contractors that gets you paid faster
The longer an invoice waits, the harder it is to collect. Mittro turns a completed job or an approved estimate into an invoice without retyping the work, emails it with a link the customer can pay by card on the spot, and records cash and checks alongside. No stack of unbilled work on the office desk.
Invoice from the job, not from memory
When a job is done, one click turns it into a draft invoice tied to the customer, the property, and the job, ready for pricing. An approved estimate converts into an invoice with its line items, discount, and tax already on it. Nothing gets retyped from a paper ticket.
Creating the invoice from the mobile app is not built yet; today the office does it in the web app.
Send it their way, take the card online
Invoices go out by email with a PDF and a link to a payment page. The customer pays by card through Stripe, and can save the card for next time. You can also send a link to put a card on file, then charge that card from the office, and record cash or check payments by hand.
Every payment lands on the customer record, so whoever answers the next call knows exactly what is owed and what is settled. Card payments need your company's Stripe account connected first, from Mittro's settings.
What is not built yet
Taking a card on site in the mobile app, sending invoices by text, and automated follow-up on unpaid invoices are on the roadmap. Today the dashboard shows what is outstanding and what is past due, and the follow-up is yours.
Texting depends on two-way texting, which is being activated for founding partners first.
Your books, and your plan
QuickBooks sync is on the roadmap and not available yet, so for now invoices and payments are kept in Mittro and entered in your books separately.
Invoicing and payments are part of every Mittro plan, starting at $29 a month. Standard Stripe processing rates apply, and Mittro adds no markup on top.
