The call you miss is the job your competitor gets.
Call Scarlett is AI phone answering being built into Mittro on our own carrier network. Once activated for your shop, it will answer calls when selected as your routing target, with transcripts and summaries saved for your office. Booking calls will open draft jobs for your team to review and schedule.
Once your line is activated, your office will choose where calls go: your team, voicemail, or Call Scarlett. Scarlett will save a transcript and a summary on the call. If the caller wants to book, she will leave an unscheduled draft job written from that summary. Your office will review the request and choose a time. Activating soon - not live yet. Included from Business ($149/month).
How a call will flow
From a call to a booking request.
Your office will choose where calls go and review each booking request before putting it on the calendar.
01
The line rings
Your office will choose one routing target: forward to the team, voicemail, or Scarlett. Scarlett will stay on until you change that choice.
02
Caller is matched
If the number is already on a customer or contact, your office will see that customer's name and first property address. Scarlett will not see that record.
03
Scarlett will answer
She will not book a time. The call summary will go in the draft job's description.
04
A job in the queue
Only booking calls will create an unscheduled draft job whose description is the call summary. Other calls will not create jobs. The transcript will stay on the call.
What happens to a call
A clear handoff from the phone to your office.
Here is how Call Scarlett will handle inbound calls once your line is activated, and how it fits with the rest of your shop workflow.
Coverage
Choose where your business calls go.
Once activated, your office will choose where incoming calls go: your team, voicemail, or Scarlett. Choosing Scarlett will send calls to AI answering until your office changes the target.
See how Mittro fits HVAC companies and plumbers.
Context
Caller context for your office.
Mittro will match the inbound number against customer and contact phone numbers in your customer CRM. Your office will see the matched customer's name and first property address. On a booking call, an unknown caller will be stored as a customer named with the calling number; on other calls, the number stays on the call record.
Our parent company, Hackney Enterprises Inc., operates the Kyova Communications network for the business phone line.
Outcome
Call records, with draft jobs for booking requests.
Transcript and summary will stay on the call. Booking requests will arrive as unscheduled draft jobs with the call summary in the description.
Your office will review each request and choose a time on the schedule.
Cost
A plan feature, not another vendor.
A separate answering service is another vendor and another bill. In Mittro, AI answering fits alongside two-way texting and your business phone line.
The activation date for your shop goes into your pilot agreement in writing. Compare the full plan breakdown on the pricing page.
Mittro includes AI answering in Business at $149 a month (2,000 voice minutes included) and Enterprise (from $199+ a month, 5,000 voice minutes included). Questions and answers
Frequently asked questions
Is AI answering live today?
No. Call Scarlett AI answering, the business phone line, and two-way texting are activating soon for founding partners first, and nothing about them works today. Scheduling, dispatch, CRM, estimates, and invoicing work today, and the activation date that applies to your shop goes into your pilot agreement in writing.
What will happen when Call Scarlett handles an inbound call?
Once activated, Mittro will save the transcript and summary on the call. Only booking calls will create an unscheduled draft job whose description is the summary. Other calls will not create jobs. On a booking call, an unknown caller will be stored as a customer named with the calling number; on other calls, the number stays on the call record. Your office will review the request and choose a time.
Which parts of Mittro's AI story are activating soon and which are on the roadmap?
Call Scarlett 24/7 answering, caller ID matching against your CRM, and the transcript, summary, and draft unscheduled job created only from a booking call are built on the Mittro side and activating soon for founding partners. AI summaries on human-answered calls and voicemails, technician job-note polish, and smart dispatch recommendations are on the roadmap and are not built yet.
Which plans include AI answering?
Business and Enterprise include AI answering with the plan. On Starter and Pro it is offered as a monthly add-on that also requires phone service, since there is nothing to answer without a business line. AI answering is activating soon and does not work today. Talk time on Pro and above comes out of the monthly voice-minute allowance included with the plan, and usage past the allowance (or from the first minute on Starter) is metered per voice minute.
Can I still answer my own business phone?
Once activated, your office will choose one routing target: forward to the team, voicemail, or Scarlett. Scarlett will stay on until you change that choice.
